Bio
I am Pradnya Halady, a researcher at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany and part of the Sample-Efficient and Emergent Adaptative Lightweight Learning group.
I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Computational Data Science from DHBW Stuttgart in cooperation with Bosch Group in 2023. I received a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in April 2026 under the study profile artificial intelligence. I completed my master’s thesis in the Computer Vision for Human-Computer Interaction Lab in which I focused on benchmarking different models using the Visual In-Context Learning paradigm across diverse domains and tasks.
My research focuses on visual in-context learning and test-time adaptation for large vision and vision-language models. The goal is to enable models to efficiently adapt to new, domain-specific visual tasks using a small number of contextual examples while balancing performance and the compute used.
